The Beginning
One of the world’s largest airports begins operations
A city with no church, as Captain Griswold would later observe
The Vision
Braniff International pilot recognizes DFW as “a city with no church” and enlists support from Dallas and Fort Worth city fathers
Official Formation
Incorporated Board of Directors is established and the first chaplains begin serving the airport community
Growing Ministry
Volunteer Associate Chaplains program established and 24/7 coverage implemented across terminals
Interfaith Evolution
Interfaith approach fully implemented and crisis response team established
Modern Expansion
Chaplaincy app launched, Digital outreach programs begin, and Partnership with military support organizations
