About Interfaith Chapels

A letter from our Executive Director

Interfaith Chapels are sacred spaces designed to be inclusive and welcoming to people of all religious backgrounds, as well as those who identify as non-religious or “spiritual but not affiliated.” Unlike a traditional church, mosque, or synagogue dedicated to a specific faith, an interfaith chapel is intentionally neutral and accommodates diverse beliefs.

During chaplain led faith-specific services, faith-specific symbols are brought out, used, and then put away. This is an IACAC practice used in international airport chapels, worldwide.

At DFW Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy, we have 5 chapels; one in each terminal at DFW. We have a team of 20 chaplains representing various Christian denominations and other faith practices, who conduct regular weekly services, as well as special holiday services, in the D40 Meadows Chapel.

We are proud to have set the benchmark as one of the largest and most respected airport chaplaincies in the world, blessing countless souls traveling through DFW Airport for 50 years. Our DFW Interfaith Chaplaincy motto has always been and always will be, ALL ARE WELCOME!
